The Orchestra presents concerts in Wellington and supports arts organisations in the Wellington region including the Royal Zealand Ballet, NBR New Zealand Opera, the Orpheus Choir and the Film Festival. School and pre-school concerts including Baby Pops and Circus Proms continue to be very popular and enthusiastically received by teachers, parents and students alike. Upcoming Events BioPaints presents Nelson Opera in the Park - 13 February, Tahununui Domain, Nelson Supported by The Nelson City Council, New Zealand's top opera stars and emerging contempory singers, Simon O'Neill, Whirimako Black, Anna Leese and Hollie Smith, provide a night of fabulous music in a picnic atmosphere with a spectacular fireworks finale.
