The Orchestra presents concerts in Wellington and supports arts organisations in the Wellington region including the Royal Zealand Ballet, NBR New Zealand Opera, the Orpheus Choir and the Film Festival. School and Pre-school concerts including Baby Pops and Circus Proms continue to be very popular and enthusiastically received by teachers, parents and students alike.
